Sika Liquid Plastics launches Sikalastic STP
Sika Liquid Plastics have developed a hybrid technology that originated in the sealant market, Sikalastic STP cold-applied liquid roofing membrane. A wet-on-wet system used in combination with a polyester fleece, Sikalastic STP is a solvent free and virtually odourless, making it an ideal solution for occupied buildings and fast track programmes.
As a part of a global company, they collaborated with their worldwide research and technical teams to bring knowledge, best practice and innovation to develop the new product at their specialist R&D facility in Preston.
Team TWA joined more than 100 contractors at the launch and enjoyed the demonstration of the wet on wet system, despite the rain!
