Newground win

Team TWA delivered a communication and social audit for new client Newground to review marketing and make recommendations on how to improve the business to get on and grow.

Newground are based in Blackburn and leading provider of quality affordable and modern homes for rent across the North of England. The company consists of a registered charity, Newgroung together, and a wholly owned subsidery, Newground (a community interest company). Newground and any profits made are invested back into the Newground Together charity.

TWA met Newground through a mutual membership of the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, and looked into the company’s communications and social media, conducting an audit on the business.

One-to-one interviews were held with key members of staff across the business’ four divisions, and we compiled a report highlighting the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities from a communications perspective.

After presenting this to the company, we are now working closely with Mick Smith, Managing Director, and his senior team to advise and create a content strategy with a view to sharing some of their news stories online, via social channels and email or in the press.

It’s a great community interest company with no end to their feel good factor. Newground delivers great work that really makes a difference and we are there to help tell their story.
